The Potter’s House Gabutu is a Pentecostal non-denominational church, and we are part of a worldwide Fellowship of over 3,700 churches in over 130 countries. Our non-denominational Fellowship of churches are each united under the common cause and vision of soul winning, discipleship, church planting and world evangelism. Our local church is part of over 20 PNG Fellowship of churches and we exist to witness to the world of God’s love as revealed in His Son Jesus Christ, our crucified, risen, exalted and soon returning King.
As a Pentecostal church we believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as described in the book of Acts, and we believe that all the various manifestations of that Baptism are still relevant, active and available today.
Our services are Pentecostal in nature with vibrant and exuberant praise and worship, anointed preaching of the Word of God, altar calls and prayer for those in need. We look forward to seeing you at one of our dynamic services and see what God will do in your life.
OUR PASTOR
MARK & ROBYN WOODS
Pastor Mark Woods came from a broken home and grew up a very angry young man. He joined the Army hoping to escape his troubled home life. However his anger fueled more violence – he hated the person he had become. Eventually in his efforts to escape someone told him about Jesus. He asked Jesus to change his life and rescue him. He surrendered his life to God’s will and answered the call to preach the gospel. Mark is a husband, father and grandfather. He has been an evangelist travelling the world for 10 years. He then took over as Senior pastor of the Potters House in Darwin for 10 years. Now as the senior pastor of the Papua New Guinea fellowship of churches in Gabutu, he believes that God has great and powerful things in store for God’s people here. The mission is to evangelise the lost, raise up disciples in the local church and to plant more churches in Papua New Guinea and the world.
The Potter's House Gabutu exists as a local congregation to witness to the world of God's love and grace.
